I know it’s been FOREVER but I will be doing some more decodening & DIYing soon & have ordered some more peices.
I’l keep you posted

Well I know It’s been awhile but I finally received my Deco peices & here is my very first whipped cream deco phone case….

These are the materials I used, The Phone case & silcone are both from Amazon, The swarovski crystals were bought online, I bought the Lollipop cabachons & pearls from Etsy, the rest of the products are from various craft stores…

I started by squirting the cream directly onto the case…

I used a toothpick to even out the silicone a give it a creamy look & then sprinkle a small amount of glitter before decorating & here is the finished result….(I tend to get carried away & forget to take pictures lol)

With Flash ^

Without flash…
I’m really happy with how it turned out it looks so cute I can’t wait for it to dry so I can try it out (I bought the wrong sealent last time lol)
What have you been making lately?

Ok so I decided that today would be my first whipped cream type decoden project! I decided I would waste using a phone case jut incase it didn’t work out very well so I decided that this would be a good first project…..

I got this last christmas it was filled with different bath bubbles and lotions, I like the tub so I kept it & i just keep random trinkets inside it, I will only be decorating the lid…

I started off by washing and cleaning the lid & made sure it was placed on some paper before starting to decorate it…

I started adding red rhinestones around the ball to give it a cherry effect…
excuse the fact I’m an idiot and got carried away, I forgot to take any pictures after adding the rhinestones but heres how it looked in the end../

I used PVA glue & red food colouring to create a drizzle effect and just added more or less colouring to change the colours….

Here’s what I used to create this project….

I forgot to add the product i used to make the cream into the picture but I used B&Q all purpose white sealant

Well I was really rather bored the other day & thought why not do some Deco? I still had some supplies left over from my Phone case but not enough for another phone case so I went on a little trip to The Range to see what I could find and I found this photo frame for the bargain price of £2:49

& After
This literally took about 30mins when I decided what I was doing on it, but it definatly brightens up an otherwise dull frame. The pic is of me & my boyfriend on my 21st birthday 2years and 1 day ago (argghh I’m so old!). It was the only picture that fit the frame so I guess I need to get printing some more pictures out lol.
On This frame I used…
Gemtac glue, 5mm Flatback Pearls, 3.2mm Swarovski crystals in Crystal & AB Crystal & Ultra fine Pearlized glitter
Anyway that was just a quickie post & quickie DIY
What have you been making?

Yes I’m aware that is a rather long title but holy crapoly it’s finally here! My Flatback pearls arrived yesterday so I settled down after I finished at the gym (I tried Zumba last night & I’m horridly aware I have no rythem & my legs flail around legs like a badly made puppet, really not a good look) & decorated my phone case. It didn’t actually take half as long as I expected it to & I am stupidly proud of it. So here are my before, during & after pictures…..

I started off by positioning the larger items & deciding a colour scheme…

I used white & pink pearls in sizes 3mm & 5mm & a selection of Swarovski crystals in 4 different colours, Pink, Peach, Crystal & AB crystal & added glitter into the gaps….

This Is how it looked when I’d finished & it was drying….
Here is how it looked on my phone…

Sorry about the picture quality these were taken on my camera which really isn’t great at upclose shots all the rest were taken on my Iphone.
Im really really pleased with how it turned out I bought all my supplies online using Etsy, Amazon & online Crystal suppliers. The key was a charm from an old broken neckalace but I really didn’t want to throw it away I plan to add a little charm onto the hook eventually & will post pictures when I do.
So what do you think? Have you done any Decodening or DIY lately? I’d love to see what you’ve created leave me your link in a comment below & I’ll visit your pages

Well I am now a complete Decoden addict sooo many boring things that I can make pretty like my boring old Ipod I think its a 2nd generation or something I’ve had it since college anyway, I don’t use very often usually when i go on holiday and occasionally at the gym (when i can be bothered to go) but I recently bought some cheap rhinestones and decided it would be a perfect canvas for practising my DIY skills for this I used….

I started in sections so the glue wouldn’t dry before I stuck the gems down…

The finished product….

Im actually really pleased with how it turned out especially for my first full on blinging out session lol. I did it over 2 night it probably took about 5 solid hours but I enjoyed it & I can’t wait to get blinging out some more things ASAP!
Have you done any DIY lately?
